Jalal throws the knife at Ataga and Ataga falls to the ground. Jalal’s knife kills Ataga, who was attacked from behind by Jalal. Sujamal leaves a message containing the Goddess Ambe Ma’s flowers. Anga however, reads the message and becomes curious. After receiving the message, Jodha decides that he will meet Sujamal.

Jalal is informed by Anga that Jodha had met an unidentified man at the temple at night. Jodha meets Sujamal in order to learn more about Jalal’s enemy. Jodha meets an unknown man when Jalal comes across him. He doesn’t react. Jalal is informed by Anga that Sujamal has escaped Agra. Later, Jalal disguises himself as a guard to follow Jodha.

Jodha meets Sujamal and hears about his mission. Jalal threatens Sujamal to kill him by hiding in a large kitchen utensil. Jalal asks Jodha about Sujamal’s identity. Jalal questions Jodha about Sujamal’s identity, and Jodha refuses the question. He then asks Jodha to leave Agra that day.

Jodha becomes more irritated when she realizes she is in love with Jalal. Jodha is stopped by Anga from telling Jalal the truth. Sujamal is able to escape prison later. Jalal is able to tell the truth about Sujamal and clear up any misconceptions Jalal has about Jodha.

Jalal discovers the truth about Sujamal and imagines settling all differences with Jodha. Jodha, however, leaves the palace and writes a letter to Jalal. Javeda goes with Anga into a forest, and Javeda finds her clapping thrice in order to unlock a door. Jalal decides that he will go outside to search for Jodha.

Sharifuddin visits Mali and is scolded by him for not telling him about Jalal’s trip to Ajmer. Jalal makes it to the Dargah Khwaja Garib Nawaz, where he prays for Jodha’s Return. Ruqaiya is told by Rahim that he misses Jodha. Jalal pretends to be a common man and takes a dip into the Yamuna.

Jodha and Shehnaz’s intervention is a source of irritation for the villagers. They are punishing a widow, and they throw stones at them. They are protected by Jalal, who is unaware of their actions. Jodha, Shehnaz and their friend Jalal escape when they see him fighting with the villagers and saving the widow. Todarmal aids a wounded Jalal, and tells him that his father Humayun helped him.

Mainawati, however, is ashamed to confront Jodha. Jalal is surrounded by Mali’s soldiers and his soldiers. Jodha, her family and friends prepare for the ‘Gangaur. Jodha accidentally breaks a necklace that is supposed to be a symbol for safety for a husband. Jodha attempts to fix the necklace and prays for Jalal’s safety.

Jodha sees Jalal in her bedroom. Jodha is told by Bharmal to look after Jalal as he is an intruder. Jodha reluctantly agrees. Anga seizes someone and interrogates them. Hamida sees Anga secretly going somewhere and decides she will follow her. Jalal then sees Jodha practicing swordsmanship, and challenges her to a duel. Jodha is upset when Jalal cheats and wins.
